December 2011 ACE Report

Most of the committee was able to meet this past Sunday to discuss the February seminar. We heard more from Tom as well as from Larry about the proposed topic for the seminar. Tom was able to answer questions from the committee as well as providing us with materials to support his program. No other topic ideas were brought up, and Elaine made a motion to accept Tom's topic and it was seconded by Linda. A vote was taken and the committee voted to ask to be our speaker for the seminar. The layout will be different this year. There will be one session from 9am to Noon on Saturday as well as a session on Sunday. No afternoon session on Saturday will mean there is no need for lunch to be provided. Tom will also offer weekly emails based on Larry's sermons as well as a follow up session for those who choose entitled "Coaching Others". Session 1 will be on February 25th with an optional session 2 on March 24th. The ACE committee now submits our choice to the council for approval.
