Next summer's Youth Mission Project will be a trip to the Dominican Republic! There will be an informational meeting with many more details on August 26th (following the worship services) which will include stories from a local youth pastor who has taken his group the past three summers. Some information is available now through the SCORE International website.
May's Meeting
Church Council will meet Monday, May 21. Leadership group will meet at 6:30 PM with the Council meeting to follow at 7:15 PM. We will meet in the Lounge. Hope to see you all there for the Leadership Meeting at 6:15. Please let either Larry, Charlie, or Gail know if you are unable to attend.
January Meeting
Our next meeting is January 23. Leadership training will begin at 6:30 PM with the Church Council meeting following at 7:15 PM. We will meet in the lounge.
December Meeting

April Meeting
Our next meeting will be Monday, April 18 at 7 PM. Please send your committee notes to Gail by Friday, April 15. Include a summary of issues the church council members need to know and use in their planning of church activities and personal lives. See you in the lounge! From March's Meeting: Our last meeting was March 21 at 7:00 PM. We approvede the new mission statement "Empowered by God, Trinity church will follow Jesus, develop disciples and transofrm the world" and also accepted the core value statement. We reviewed actions discussed at the visioning meeting. Sheila Rader shared the purpose and activities of the "Welcoming and Outreach committee." The SPRC recommended making Pastor Nate 1/2 time and upcoming actions and events surrounding the arrival of Pastor Larry Baird. The meeting minutes are posted on the blog. The next vision meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 7 from 9 AM until noon.
March Meeting
Next meeting will be March 21 at 7:00 pm. We will discuss the mission statement in hopes of approving it for use. We will also review actIons require from the visioning meeting of march 12. See the attached vision mtg minutes. We will also review a committee responsibilities list.The next vision meeting is schedule meeting is May 7 9 am till noon.
The last church council meeting was February 21. The responsibility's of the church council were reviewed. The meeting minutes are posted. The vision meeting met March 12. Pastor Larry Baird met with the group as mission statement, core values and future vision was discussed.
For Next Time
Our next council meeting is January 24th, not the 17th as was previously scheduled! This meeting will be (at least partly) a special charge conference and we will be voting on a new trustee and approving the 2011 budget (in addition to normal business).Also, don't forget about our planning meeting Saturday 1/8 at 9 am! At this planning meeting we will discuss the future of our church and how we will get there- specifically, we'll be talking about our mission and developing a mission statement.
Last Meeting
Our last meeting was November 15th. We talked more about visioning and planning and what the next steps are moving forward. We also welcomed Rev. Nate Lange to his new position as Trinity's Associate Pastor. In light of his new role he resigned the Council Chair and, at our Charge Conference in December, Charlie Yund was elected to take over the position.
