Pastor Jeff has prepared some things for us to reflect on in preparation for our devotional time at Monday's meeting:
1. Complete the following statement: “For Trinity Church I have a dream that some day _____."
2. We will listen to the speech by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Can you see his dream? What did it say to you?
3. Before the Church Council meeting read these scripture passages and answer the “I have a dream” vision for each one.
Gen 2:4-3:7
Exodus 3:1-15
Exodus 16:1-30
Amos 5:21-24
Matthew 28:16-20
Luke 1:46-55
Luke 4:18-21
4. Make a list of the most important values of Trinity Church.
5. Now try writing a one sentence vision for Trinity Church as you understand it today. What do you feel God is calling us to become given our history, values and current reality and mission? (This may give you a glimpse of what a visioning process might yield.)

Wow, this is so exciting. I am praying that it works for everyone. This is going to be a huge timesaver at meetings! Are there arrangements being made for those (like Nancy Hayes) that do not have internet?
